Internet correspondence is perhaps one of the most useful things in the world, so of course, seeking to educate, and seeking education over the internet presents a great opportunity for our societies education practices. At this point in time, education programs which can be done over the internet are mainly catering to older people looking for qualifications so that they can broaden their horizons, but this doesn’t mean that its potential just stops there. One instance when educating younger people via the internet is currently in use is where the area is too sparsely populated by children to justify a school being built. Previously these instances would be compensated for by irregular meetings, and educating via the radio. The internet has rendered this obsolete, and who is to say that it will just stop there? Potentially, the benefits of educating our young people over the internet may well begin to out way the negative aspects of it.
